Equipment for transporting particles stored in a hopper to another container. The powder at the bottom of the hopper is conveyed by the rotation of a screw. In this example, the screw pitch is set to be uniform (or at equal intervals), resulting in the powder on the far side being discharged first. You can check for segregation and stagnant regions within the hopper. Note that the conveyance speed is determined by the pitch and the rotation speed.
